OnAFly
I had a problem with Vanish snapping on casts about 8 years ago when I had it as a main line on a rod. I've used a couple spools since then for leader material and not had that problem. Maybe it was just a bad spool. I use the Cabela's brand heavy stuff (25 and 40lb) to make pike leaders out of and that works great.

masoct3
I make it to Denver often and I make sure I have their XPS fluoro in my basket. I really like it and it is strong. It's a little expensive, but you really cannot go wrong with it.How about the Bass Pro Shops XPS Fluorocarbon line. has anyone had any experience with it. Stick in Mud
I haven't used all of the available brands, but I bought a spool of the Suffix flouro on clearance and I haven't yet had any real problems with it. I only use it for leaders, and even then I don't use it all the time, so I don't have a ton of experience with it.
NCLaker
+1 on Sufix Floro for leaders - too stiff to use as main line for me. Had not had good luck with Vanish.
Eric_Kruger
Another vote for vanish from me, I started using it last year and have never looked back. Its soft, clear, and I can cast it a mile if i want too. spent all weekend fishing walleyes on gull and never had one break off with many pike boated....
