mrklean
After hunting this weekend and pulling 2 ticks off myself and find about another dozen crawling on my leg and arm it got me thinking about Under Armour heat gear, i love my cold gear it fits tight on the skin so i was wondering if the heat gear still very tight on the skin would keep the ticks off? What are your thoughts
brittman
Sprayed clothing with tick repellant ... zero ticks.
Mid-Lake Rock
The repellent contains a chemical called permethrin. A company called Sawyer makes a product that works well. You spray it on your clothes and let them dry. No smell after it dries and lasts for several weeks. I picked up a bottle for $8.
NoWiser
Go with the Permethrin. I haven't had a single tick on me in 5 years, and I easily spend 15-20 days in the woods each spring between shrooming, turkey hunting, and just hiking around enjoying the weather. sticknstring
You can get it in concentrate at Tractor Supply in bulk and make gallons for $8. I wouldn't be in the woods this time of year without it!

I swear by it with my wife daughter and I having lymes I don't leave the house without treating our clothes.
