Just spooled some up last weekend. Seems nice and quiet. I've casted with it a few times and like the feel. I am not much of an original PP guy but this stuff is quite different. So far, so good.

Anyone know how it compares to Sufix 832? How is it with retaining water, resisting digging into spool (for baitcasters)?

I've been pretty happy with 832, but its good to keep up on other options.

Have you heard or estimated thats its supposed to be powerpro's version of 832? I thought that 832 was a little over rated with all due respect. I would rather use normal powerpro vs 832. I'm trying to form a decision to buy a spool or not.

IMO where 832 shines over Powerpro - much quieter through the guides, and a lot drier. I would assume you would see the same improvements with Super Slick over normal PowerPro.

I took a look at this line at Gander today. Is brown the only choice for color?

No, it comes in blue, green, and yellow too. I think brown was the first color out of the factory though and that's what most stores got at first. I've seen green, but I'm guessing most stores want to move the brown line first.

I'm a hard core PP guy for Lindy rigging because it's very limp and comes off the spool easy. I tried 832 10#/4# this weekend and hated it. It was constantly sticking and hard to get off even with some reel majic. I have to be the hardest guy in the world to please with line because 832, nano, fireline and crystal have all gone in my garbage. This is getting expensive, do most people fish so little they think the stuff works or is it just Lindy rigging it all sucks for? I'm almost afraid to even try the super slick PP for just this reason, I guess when you find something you like you should stick with it but you know were all suckers for new and improved.

I love this stuff. I have always been a power pro guy and am switching from the original to the super slick. Its way more quiet and smoother. Funny thing is, you dont really notice the noise difference until you make the switch.
