Here is a 36" Pike I caught this weekend (10/2/04). So far this is my biggest Pike of the year, and was it fun! grin.gif

Well look at that, I didn't notice the timing of bumping the thread.

I'd add a picture, but don't have a photo (computer crash, BACK-UP YOUR PHOTOS ON CD) of the last sizeable fish 46.5 I caught in '04, I promise you I remember what she looked like, where, what bait, time, temp, depth, etc.........

Ended the year with 36 fish last year with largest at 47.5 I finally bought a GPS, hoping it will get me close to 50 this year.

We should have the cheesheads posting pictures of a fish or two soon enough. Has anyone ever had any luck in the So. half of WI early season? Worth a trip?

Well I hoped this worked. I have never posted any pitures before. I tried to follow the directions from an old post by hanson. With my luck it will likely not work. If it doesn't throw me some help.

Anyway I got a better camera and a couple of better camera men for this season.

I don't like the way MuskyTom is holding his fish. Didn't support the belly at all. Can't imagine the kind of stress the spine of that fish had to endure. I think a cradle hold may have been the way to go with that one. wink.gif

Nice! Hockeyguy, I was told on another thread (Mtka muskies) that the reason muskies look like this in the spring is due to the spawning antics going on, apparently the females get pretty aggresive towards other fish and it is quite common I have been told. I thought it looked like a Lamprey Eel got ahold of it! grin.gif

Hey it's my answer man Mark!! Hey buddy, I unfortunately had a drop of water on the lens when that picture was taken... it was right before those Saturday morning consistant rains hit us. Gotta get out with you again!
