Xbow for bear

Just piked up my new Xbow an the first thing i plan on slithering is a bear to match the same chrisining as I did with my verticle. Whos done a bear with a Xbow an what kinda tips do ya have? I'll be hunting in two man with a shooting rest so dont need a shooting stick rest, yet. Thanks boar

Boar I would try and shoot the Griz trick II it will make a huge hole. Otherwise thunderheads have always worked outta my uncles xbow

I run Grizz sticks on my recurve and they are worth every penny. I have seen crossbows on bear and they are deadly. You can get away with a larger cutting edge due to the power and speed.

Yea I cant wait, just return from the bow range, his thing is stupid sick. Pass thru on a block target at 20 yrds. I was sitting at the rifle burm for 100 yrds an on shot went high, figured id find it at about 40-50 yrds on the other side of the target, I looked for 15 minuets, found a dollar on the ground, yea! an figured maybe more money down range buy the targets, an there she was at about 95 yrds was my bolt. cool. Definatley have to tweek the bolt supresion spring, it holds the bolt in place an messes with the trajectory of ur not paying attention. Oh mr. black bear, your in trouble with mr. boar.
