It all depends on your style and what baits you throw. I use a spinning rod on docks a lot with braid. What type of rod are you thinkin?

Cecil, I tend to throw plastic's when I'm fishing docks and prefer to use a spinning rod. I have yet to use braid on my spinnig rods, so that would be something new.

i use both baitcaster and spinning.. but prefer spinning, rigged with 30 lb power pro.

I think I'm actually going to make it to the show this year, after missing it for a variety of reasons the last few years. Prolly Satruday, unless the BOSS has other plans.

Met Deitz there yesterday, he sold my brother a rod and reel. Not sure if he's always that goofy or if he just spent too much time under the bright lights Also looked at the Skeeter MX1825, man that'd be a nice rig, but my MegaMillions ticket wasn't a winner
