not_nuf_time
Here's my problem, First I have a wingspan measure of 69.5 to 70 inches. I've been shooting a 27.5 in draw. It feels just fine. But, I want to purchase a new bow (likely used), and there are way more number 3 cams(hoyt) bows out there for sale than #2 cam bows. What I'm asking, if I went up to 28 inch draw will this be a big deal in my accuracy and form or is it not a big deal at all to move around a 1/2 inch draw increment here and there. Thanks. Rippinlip
Does the bow have a "D" loop on the string? You could remove it or add one to make up the 1/2".

Based on the formula of wingspan/2.5 you'd be at 28" draw. So a 28" shouldn't be that far off if you have a loop tied on. Also, check around, you should be able to order cams for the bow you want from Hoyt if you find the right deal on the bow.
Scoot
Yep, all above makes sense to me. One warning though- there are few things you can do to encourage form problems than to shoot a drawlength that is too long for you. Obviously, the exact drawlength you should have is ideal, but if you're going to err, short is much better than long. It might be worth having someone help you out in that regard. Good luck! Walleye Guy
Bows are like shoes, get measured and try on a few before you make a commitment. You'll be happier in the long run...

Hoyt4
A1 archery has a few bows with your draw. You should head out and look. I have shot with a longer lenght was not too bad. Once you get back to the correct length you can sure tell the difference. Plus you will have stretch in the string after shooting for awhile. I would lean towards getting your correct draw. A few new Hoyts at A-1 they might even have one left from 2011 line of Hoyts.
