Clam Push Pole Buttons

Did you actually lose them? On the clam's that I have they just slide their way up the pole a little ways. They are a "V" type mechanism with the button attached...they seem to slide every time you have a little frost inside the pole.

oooooooooooooo they do. If they move just a tiny bit they don't line up with the push button. I just put some black elect. tape around them. They stay put and you don't even notice the tape is on there

Hmmm. Pretty sure in the set up manual for my house it said to put the elec tape on there. Maybe that's why mine don't slide around grin

I did snap mine on last year in -20 air and broke a couple of them. Clam Girl on the phone said warm 'em up first. Then she shipped me half a dozen of them on the house. Thanks!

are you talking about these? I'm confused because these things shouldn't be sliding up and down the pole.

they had them in stock at Thorne Bros a couple weeks ago.

I know several local sporting goods stores sell those for around $8.00
