Portable tow bar advise

I am looking for a tow bar to connect my 2-man Jason Mitchell thermal X to my ATV. I would appreciate hearing pros/cons of the various options.

I've only used the otter bar, but my universal advice is bring extra pins with you and if you're riding through trails watch the rocks.

The Otter tow bar with the universal mounting brackets, if you dont have a Otter, is the way to go. I have had 1 Otter Tow bar for over 10 years and its still going strong.

I agree with Northlander. My Otter hitch is tough as nails. I cannot see how it could ever wear out.

I use an otter and an eskimo, they both work well and are very similar. I would agree that witch ever one, bring extra pins!

I'll add my vote to the Otter tow bar. Has dependably worked for me for the last 3 years.

+1 on this design. I saw the post last year and built one for myself. I've had many, many outings with it since. Very durable, it's been working great!

(I did change one thing on the design, it was too long for my liking. I shortened the pipes to approx 2.5 feet. That way I can pull my ATV and house up on my 4 place trailer as a unit and never disconnect the house from the ATV. Saves messing around with connecting and disconnecting it every time I trailer someplace.)

We have a few of the frabill universal tow bars and they work great. We have them on both of the frabills, both of the otter's and on my clam denali as well. They work great and I highly recommend them
