just do a search or go back 1 or 2 pages we have beat this horse to death. we all know that statistically the Marcum is better, but its all how good you are at reading them.
CrewJones do you have a Marcum LX-5? We need someone at the Flasher shoot-out with one to show up! wink

My take on it all comes to a personal level. I have had both, I still have a vexilar but with being colorblind with these colors on the locaters, Marcum does it 100x better for me. So I stick with the Marcum lx-5 and lx-7. With the 7 I have zero issues of telling what is what. I can't get that with a vexilar. Never had a Bird yet, so not sure, I'm happy with Marcum and will continue using them till something better catches my eye. smile

Gator, a color blind friend of mine wanted to trade his lx-5 for my ICE-55. So the 6 color (or whatever it is)display must be nice. Then his color blind brother commented on how nice it was compared to his FL18. I politely declined!!

As good ol' Backwater Eddy would preach "get the blue light" conversion on your Vex and that takes care of the color blind people. Plus it looks really cool
I run my Ice 55 with the blue light as it does seem easier to see and better on the eye's.
