Empty Fuel Tank Question

Well the time has come that my beater has died. And of course just filled it up with gas. I found that siphoning doesnt work worth a [PoorWordUsage] with all the baffles and stuff, I cant get a hose down into the tank. It's a 91 bonneville. Can a guy take the fuel line off the injector rail and bypass the fuel pump relay and pump it into a container? I just dont want to give the salvage yard $50 worth of gas Or what is the best method iyo?

Knowing its going to the boneyard......(moment of silence).........that's pretty much what I would do.

Who cares if you fry the fuel pump, it's going to the cemetary anyway.

That's how I would do it. You would be surprised how fast you will empty the tank.

i usually rip out all the fuses, battery, cables off the starter and any other large gauge cables, pull the radiators and the cats.. this stuff brings a good price at the scrap yard
