In need of miscellaneous darkhouse info

Hello everyone, I'm in the process of making a new darkhouse, and I'm looking for pictures of your house, both inside and out. Specifically, I'm looking for ideas on making the door and on how you have the interior set up for things such as how/where to put your spear and how you set up your real and fake decoys inside the shack. Also, any ideas on a few places to buy decoys in areas around Grand Rapids to Duluth. Thanks for any help!

cant help ya with darkhouse pics but i'm pretty sure glen's & that bait store just west of glen's on 2 has decoys.

The one I was talking about had mini teasers also for $22 or $23, In the last 3 years I have yet to find one in any of the metro shops and it was the ticket on winnie and got me the 32.5"

I'm currently making a deluxe one man 40"x5' darkhouse ill get some pics up soon the hole is 37"x23 so fo a one man its big by my standards....

Sorry I don't have any pics but i'll try to explain a couple things i've done in my house. I mount those cheap reels with a thumb screw to the wall. Right above it I screw a hook near the ceiling. It then goes to a hook I have in a board that is by the ceiling that goes over the hole. I set the reel with just enough tension so the minnow or decoy can't pull it.

I just lean my spear on the wall on my right side. In my perm i have an eye bolt in the wall to tie onto. In my portable I tie the rope to my chair.
