I move to the Prior Lake area and live with in 1 mile of the access to both Prior & Spring. I plan to just drive the wheeler to the access and did not want to drag the otter down the bare road. I bolted a full 1 inch board to the rack to prevent it from sliding front to back, fits between the ribs & hyfax. I use 3 ratchet straps to secure it to the rack. Took it for a test ride and does pretty darn well, when I get to the lake I may just drag it like always. Any thoughts??

Yep, I have a cover, but just not in the picture. Only negative is to have to completely empty the sled so I can load the dang thing.

You could strap 2 2x6 planks to the front of the 4wheeler, and use them as ramps when you get to the landing to load/unload your sled. That might keep you from unloading all your stuff...though it probably doesn't take you longer than 2min.

might want to check with the Prior Lake police regarding their tolerance of driving the wheeler between your home and the access

Ya, I thought of that, but a wise man once told me, "better to ask forgiveness than permission"
