How much ice do u??

How much ice you pull your house out on and what size house you got? I got a 6 1/2 x14 just woundring what you would pull it out on.

What's the weight, I'd be more concerned about that then the size.

and what your pulling it with? if your just using a wheeler maybe or a truck will make a hug difference.

Its a ice castle 2600 lbs pullin it with the wheeler

I have a house about the same size. Will not go out with it unless I have at least 7 inches of good ice. Pulling it with a wheeler also.

+1 on at least 7 inches consistent ice for your rig towed by 4wheeler. I have a 6.5x12 king crow. I will pull out on 6 inches with the wheeler but I prefer 7.

Not and issue for me with two small permanents on skids. My neighbor who owns a Yetti dropped one wheel through 8" a few years ago coming off from fishing. He'll still pull out on 7 or 8 inches but only after his "taste test". He pulls his rig along shore a couple hundred yards from the landing, stops and drills a hole behind the house, and then backs the house over the hole. He proceeds or retreats based on the amount of water that comes up through the hole.

i dont think about pulling my 7 1/2 x 12 out unless i can drive my truck... I love fishing out of my standard but if i cant drive to it i will stick with portables..

I weighed mine at the truck stop in Lakeville. I think it was $10 or so.

Some truck stops and all grain elevators should have a scale. They may charge you to use them.

Most of the junk yards will weigh your rig. Here in St. Cloud I had mine weighed at Midway Iron for two bucks.

My house is around 2700lbs and I wouldnt take it on less than 9in of good clear ice.

In Lakeville it used to be called the McStop. Now it's a gas station by the McDonalds on 35 and Cty 70.
