fishing tech
Backstrom out for personal reasons. Wild sign 51 year old to back up Harding Until Hackett can get to the X.
scsavre
Im assuming Harding is 31, not 51. Hmmm. I never like to see out for personal reasons, hopefully all is well. I wish we had a trade happening, but I dont think anyone wants to absorb Backstroms contract $$$$.
fishing tech
Backstrom was out for the birth of his child. The Wild signed a 51 year old so he could back up Harding if Hackett couldn't make the game.
Bear55
Fun story, I remember reading about a formor college goalie that got a call out ofthe blue like that and was a backup for a game. Can't remember what team or anything but it has to be a thrill to be sitting on the bench. Sounds like Hackett made it to the bench part way through the first period. Bryce
Got more of the story today. He is a buddy of someone in the organization and has worked out with the team before. Thought it a bit strange that a 51 year old is the best they could do in the state of hockey.

fishing tech
He went to school with Ramsey. He is the uncle of a player I coached in the past. He does skate with the team once in a while.
