Im assuming Harding is 31, not 51. Hmmm. I never like to see out for personal reasons, hopefully all is well. I wish we had a trade happening, but I dont think anyone wants to absorb Backstroms contract $$$$.

Backstrom was out for the birth of his child. The Wild signed a 51 year old so he could back up Harding if Hackett couldn't make the game.

Fun story, I remember reading about a formor college goalie that got a call out ofthe blue like that and was a backup for a game. Can't remember what team or anything but it has to be a thrill to be sitting on the bench. Sounds like Hackett made it to the bench part way through the first period.

Got more of the story today. He is a buddy of someone in the organization and has worked out with the team before. Thought it a bit strange that a 51 year old is the best they could do in the state of hockey.

He went to school with Ramsey. He is the uncle of a player I coached in the past. He does skate with the team once in a while.
