Ok, I know this isn't a true fantasy football forum, but maybe there'll be enough people on here to tell me if I hit trade pay-dirt.

I'm in a 12-team PPR. 2nd place and playoffs are basically clinched. We start 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, and a flex, I had Stafford, Arian foster, Steven jackson, Helu, Jacobs, Addai, vincent jackson, julio jones, jordy nelson, d bowe, and A gates.

I traded V jack, Helu and Jacobs for McFadden and Andre Johnson.

I like that trade a whole lot for you. Two of the best players in the game at their position for 3 players that are awful hard to trust any week. Johnson and McFadden will get healthy and be studs for you in the playoffs.

Nice trade considering Helu and Jacobs are basically waiver wire pick ups. Helu is nothing to phone home about and Jacobs is only good while Bradshaw is out.

If they get/stay healthy that is one heck of a trade, if the stay injured, Well.... but if you are in the playoff hunt and they both come back good, you might have just gotten the boost you will need.

Even if 1 of the guys he traded for is healthy he got a deal, the only person he really gave up is Jackson.

thanks! I have been playing fantasy football for 13 years but have never been an active trader. The guys in my veteran league are trade scrooges and I've given up even trying, but in this league the guys are at least open to trying trades. Earlier this week I made a point to pursue DMC and Andre Johnson if their owners needed to win to make the playoffs. Now if I can just beat the guy that drafted calvin johnson, steve smith, and welker.

yeah thats a great deal... McFadden will be healthy soon, and so will Johnson. As mentioned above, if even one of them is healthy you got a great deal. iF both get healthy, what a steal
