he was runnin for a championship

on lap 13 he's a corner pushing up into another car

not a smart move by a guy trying to win a championship

hornaday has lost championships in the same in yrs past

driving over his head early in the race

that wasnt the 18's fault

he coulda lifted just as well as the 18

its after that is where the 18 was wrong

just to be clear i'm not defending the 18's actions

I knew he would run it all down his leg as he simply is a little baby with a very bad temper and has a long ways to go before he could ever be considered a contender.

What I really love is, Jr looks to maybe finish higher in the pounts in the chase thean wonderboy Kyle. smilesmile

I did not see any of this but I am sure, the way Kyler bounces off of and hits others that he more than likely had it coming if it was Hornady's fault.

Kyle acts like a little kid and he was treated as such. "You've been a bad boy, now go sit in the corner". Come to think of it, with those pimples he looks like a kid too. Too many M&M's? Sounds like he might lose that gravytrain too.

Kyle was been parked for the weekend.

Your thoughts?

Sifty

He's "Parked" and he deserves to be "Parked".

CUP cars not racing for points should be a non-factor.

They should stay the hell outta the way.

Maybe NASCAR should pull them out for the last 5 or 10 races ?

I read about it, but just watched the video! Wow, Kyle is lucky he did not hurt or kill someone with that move. They were still going way over 100 mph when he did that.

He should be suspended for much longer than the 2 races at Texas.

I NEVER thought that Joe Gibb's would allow a driver like Kyle and what he does on any team he owns.

Boy, I had Gibbs figured wrong. I guess one can do anything at any time on the track and Gibbs will allow a driver like that in his cars.

Yes, I realize that there are other who will take a chance but Kyle has no respect for any driver other than maybe Kurt, his brother and I doubt that.

I truely believed that maybe Kyle was going to grow up this season but wrong again.

I doubt even with his skill as a driver, he will ever grow up to be a true champion.

Yea, I wonder how much more the Gibbs organization will put up with. I can't image that Toyota, M&M's, and the other asscoiate sponsors are real happy. At least they shouldn't be. There has to be a limit to the negative press at some point I would think.

He even had his spotter telling him to calm down and not to do it, but didn't listen.

He got a $50,000 fine and put on double secret probation for the remainder of the year (a whole two weekend's worth).

It was also made clear to everyone that any hanky panky that looks to purposely change the championship will be dealt with in a similar manner.

See, that's the real kicker here. A non-truck regular that took out a contender with complete intent to do so. This would be a non-issue if it happened while racing hard...that happens every week, but to do what he did under caution which was more than just putting a donut on Hornaday's door to let him know he was unhappy with what happened is the reason for the uproar and subsequent punishment. To fall back on the "boys have at it" mantra as a loophole to forgive Busch as some are trying to do just doesn't apply here.

Sure seems to be some rumblings about Candyland's future in the sport. His sponsor isn't happy and I'm betting that Gibbs isn't real happy to have this on his plate, again.

An Open Letter From Kyle Busch

Posted November 5, 2011

To all,

I’ve had a lot of time today to sit and reflect, and try to put my thoughts into words as best I can.

I want to sincerely apologize for my actions during Friday night’s Truck Series race at Texas.

I apologize to my fans, all my sponsors, everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing and Kyle Busch Motorsports.

After talking with my team, it’s great to have their support and encouragement to assure me that there are better days ahead. Even though this took place while driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, I am sorry for how difficult this has been for everyone associated with Joe Gibbs Racing’s Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series teams.

I’d also like to apologize to Ron Hornaday Jr., and everyone associated with the No. 33 team in the Truck Series.

I understand why I was taken out of the car for the rest of the weekend. NASCAR officials had to act, and I accept their punishment and take full responsibility for my actions.

As a racecar driver, the hardest thing to do is to sit on the sidelines listening to cars on the track when you know you should be out there competing. For this, I have no one to blame but myself.

Through a lot of support from the people around me, I feel like I’ve made a lot of strides this year, but this was certainly a step backward. Moving forward, I will do everything I possibly can to represent everyone involved in a positive manner. However, I know my long-term actions will have more of a bearing than anything I say right now.

Sincerely,

Kyle Busch

Now everything is all great and Kyle is all grown up.

My bet, it won't be long and he will again do something to endanger anothers life.

I will say I believe Kyle was a bit better for part of the season.

I am sure Joe Gibb's explained to Kyle that he needed to do this.
