Fantasy. Who to start?

I am completely stumped on this one.PPR league.

Beanie Wells vs. Carolina

Jahvid Best vs. Tampa

Beanie should run wild against Carolina, but Best should catch quite a few passes. I am leaning Wells. I might as well use him before he gets injured.

Some would claim that you could say the same about Best, but he hasn't been in the league long enough for that label, yet.

Gut feeling on these two I'd go Wells.

What about Pierre Thomas? fantasyvictory has him as an add this week and said to expect good things.

Id have to bench a WR/TE if I do. Either Witten, DeSean Jackson or Dez Bryant.

Charch has been spooning Thomas for the last two years and it hasn't panned out yet.

If choosing between Thomas and the other three, I'd take any of the other three. With Ingram there now and NO's RBBC I'd wait a bit before throwing Thomas in there.

yeah the NO RB situation is dicey, to say the least. I'd go with all of the other 3 as well, at least they should get lots of looks. Higher upside, too

The Saints have hit a home run letting Shockey go and getting Graham. I know they lost tonight, but he was one of, if not their only real bright spot. He is going to be good.

Finley will be as well, he just has to prove he can stay healthy.

Finley IS good, he just wasn't targeted a lot tonight, well he was by all of the NO defense which opened up everything for Jennings and Nelson. Still had 50 and some change in receiving.

I do not think you would lose or gain anything from that trade. They should both be top 5 tight ends. But I'm with you, I probably would't buy on that one either.

I am talking about our draft, I bet none were picked higher than the 4th or 5th rounds.

You can grab Henderson and Meachem in free agency in most league. They will be targeted quite a bit in the next month or more.

Question: How long is Peyton Manning out? He's on our waiver wire and I figure somewhere down the road he's gotta be worth a pickup for the end of your bench.

I'd say he'll be out at least 4-6 weeks, and even then he'll be less than 100% and out of football shape

I'm not planning on picking him up for the foreseeable future

If you have someone you would feel comfortable dropping I would pick up Peyton for sure. By stashing him you either have some great trade bait later in the season, or will have an elite and fresh QB for the fantasy playoffs.

Unless you have a IR spot on your bench, I wouldn't. He's going to be out at least 2 months. At this point in the season, I want as many position players on my bench as possible. Never know who's going to blow up. How'd you feel if the guy you dropped just became the starter due to injury or took over the job? Peyton isn't going to be going anywhere for a while. I'd revisit this week 5 or 6 unless reports change.

For fair disclosure, I dropped peyton for Meacham on thursday.
