Big Dave2
I agree but as I mentioned earlier, LSH is going with a different QB so things have a chance to play out differently. I take WEM over LSH 28-26. You obviously know more about the QB situation at LSH than I do but I was not very impressed with the back up QB at the end of the Belle Plaine game when the starting QB got injured. I don't think that the QB play at LSH is going to make the difference anyway. I don't remember a time that LSH was dependant on a QB, The veer offense is all about a power running game.Good luck against Waterville, I'll be rooting for LSH. Dave S
To his defense, the kid filling in the QB spot is more than likely a little rusty. Had they left him in that position throughout the years, there would be no question. But you know how things go...better players set aside in favor of the coaches kid. Now, if the QB for WEM is the same one I've seen 4 years ago, LSH will have there work cut out for them.
Dave S
Sounds like WEM gave a good whoopin' to LSH lastnight. Game wasn't as close as I would have expected.
picksbigwagon
I will be the first to admit that I thought that Prior Lake would have a decent year, 5-4 or something like that but those kids are playing really well right now. Last nights game proved that. No super outstanding players, very solid in all areas.....a number of my former students are seniors this year, great kids, great leadership on the team. Good Luck Prior Lake
Big Dave2
Sounds like WEM gave a good whoopin' to LSH lastnight. Game wasn't as close as I would have expected. A poster on the Minnesota River Conference's facebook page made it sound as though the game was closer than the score would indicate. Scott M
GSL was upset at home by Fairmont, gave up a 4th quarter, 64 yard bomb. Mankato West handled Hutchinson. Will be an interesting state tournament, some new faces.
Scott M
WEM is still trucking, Fairmont is going to destroy Annandale is my prediction. Mankato West is rolling, would be fun to see them go up against the 5A winner.
mrklean
was sad to see my Bucs get beat by WEM but oh well. Im interested to see if Totino Grace can hang with Eden Prairie in the 5A game
