Is it legal to put Hay Bales in CRP fields?

For what reason? ( I am asuuming you want to use them for a ground blind)

I see the CO doing a couple things, neither of them would be good; either writing you up for putting out bait or littering. OR both....... Just my guess

We have used hay bales for blinds in grass fields and been checked by the DNR with no problems. They were not enrolled in the CRP program but were grass fields.

I do not see how you could possibly be ticketed for littering if you have permission to put them there.

Strike that, I didn't read CRP, I was thinking DNR land.....CRP land is privately held land, you would have no problems with that unless the land owner doesn't want it there. Unless you are putting them out there as bait......

if the bales are left long enough to destroy the vegetation, you could get in trouble with FSA
