cams at bait site ?

What are the chances that my trail cam will get stolen from my bait site on public land? It is in a bear box which is lag bolted to a tree.

If its easy to get to place than yeah I would cable it also.

It depend on how honest the person is that finds it, I run across a few during the season and just detour around them and stay out of the area.

The area that I am in we went to the point of putting the cameras up in a tree on the entrance trails and then another one up in the tree by the bait. Havent had one stolen yet. The reason for the one on the entrance trail is to take a picture of anyone that comes to our bait and if the camera is stolen. It seemed we would get a camera or two stolen a year before this. Its a lot more work but does the job.
