deer hunting in hibbing question?

does anyone know if you can bow hunt near the airport in hibbing? was wondering if its in the city limits and you can hunt. my girlfriends parents have some land there and we were thinking of hunting there for the bow season. or is there a HSOforum i can look it up? thanks for any info.

You should probably call the city. Make sure you know how much land they have, that could determine if you can or cant.

I would say it might be okay as long as you're not on airport property. You are technically in Stuntz township but if I recall correctly, Hibbing may have incorporated the entire township into its city limits. I know we hunt on my mother-in-law's place about 2 miles north of the airport but I've never really thought about it before.

It might be best to consult with the city to be sure.

thanks for the comments. they own 50 acres and the land is east of the airport. ill have to call them up.
