Not with this one. I was able to get south of the worst of it. Probably at least 60mph winds though, even away from the storm. There were some pretty big trees down and flattened corn fields in and around Lidgerwood when I went through before heading back to Fargo.

I expected some big hail too. With the color and the cloud profile that the storm had, it must have dropped some big hail somewhere --- I was just lucky enough to miss it.

Great photos of that supercell! That is called a shelf cloud, it forms on the outflow or gust front of the storm. I ws out storm chasing near Berlin ND that day, I am going to post some pics in a new thread.
