Wow this is tragic. I hope Josh Hamilton doesnt take this too hard. My thoughts and prayers go out to this man's family especially his 6 year old boy who say him fall.

Yeah. From the looks of the video, he dropped straight down a long ways. I can see serious changes coming to the railing and the part behind the HR fence.

Absolutely terrible accident. Feel really bad for his son, and to a lesser extent Josh Hamilton. I'm sure he will have a tough time getting over this even though obviously it wasn't his fault.

Kinda weak all they are doing is raising the rails up, put up some signs, and make an announcement to not lean on the rails.

Why not put in some netting or a tarp?

I think that'd be cheaper than new rails.

Just goes to show.. you can survive a fall from that distance EASILY if you land on your legs, but landing on your head from any height is very dangerous.
