Sportscenter (commentator) just said the Badgers are and will be a favorite to win the Big Ten.

QB was the quesion mark for this years Badger team. Hopefully he will fit the hype.

In 2010, Wilson threw for 3,663 yards and 28 touchdowns while leading the Wolfpack to a victory over West Virginia in the Champs Sports Bowl.

I think Ohio state might get kicked around a little this year in the Big Ten, but they still have a lot of talent on that team.

...and it takes until the fifth post to mention our Gophers. I'm interested in seeing what Coach Kill is able to do with a bunch of (frankly) Big 10 reject players. He seems like the guy who can make marginal players better, which is the opposite of Brewster, who was a great recruiter but terrible at player development and coaching. I think that the Gophers will be lucky with a 4-win season based on the opponents they'll face. They will squeak out a surprise win or two in the Big 10.

I think that the Badgers will take it all, although Nebraska will give them a run for their money. The Badger/Cornhusker game will be the gem of the 2011 Big Ten season.

We had a kid come out of our High School this year that signed on with the Badgers as an offensive tackle. With the way the Gophers have been I might become a Badger Fan!

I don't think the Badgers had a shot at a National Champ. A few teams would have had to lose. Badgers were not getting any respect from poll voters.

Agreed, very tough loss for Becky. They have a fun team to watch again this year. I bet their players are having a hard time sleeping this week, especially after hearing about the Oklahoma loss.

I think they were going to make a run for the title and deservedly so.

I think they ball was in but I don't how you over turn that one. They should have giving that call to the Badgers based on the spectacular play that kid made in holding or trying to hold the Spartan player out of the end zone.

I really hope we get a Nebraska v Wisconson B1G championship game. At a neutral field, it might not be one-sided. You guys have a fantastic stadium atmosphere over the in Madison though. I went to the NU v WI game a month ago, and I was really impressed. Russell Wilson has been stellar so far for you guys too. He'll be a Heisman finalist I'm sure.

Great win for the Gophers yesterday...came at the perfect time. It'll keep them playing for the rest of the season and also assure some of their recruits that they haven't given up. ANY win at this time of year is important for that reason alone.

Kill will turn this program around...he'll make it much like Mason had it before his firing. Maybe a LONG way from contending for a conference title but a respectable bowl game is on the horizon.

Kill will get the In-State recruits he needs to...something the Gophers have long been afraid or reluctant to do. It will take some time but he WILL turn the corner.

Nice win Gophers...now, show us some fight against the Spartans.
