A Paddle Around Finn Bay

Took the canoe out for a couple of hours today and did my best to dodge the rain drops.

All sweet shots but I really like that second shot of mom on the nest with the neck down low.

Thanks all. Jim, that second shot is actually a second loon. If you look closely, the vegetation around each nest is different. I knew the first loon was going to be there and intentionally kept a distance so as not to disturb it. The second one I came upon by surprise. I came around a corner of the floating bog and there she was withing about 8 feet. I snapped a couple of pix and quietly got outta there. Pretty neat!
