This has been the most amazing season for birds. Has any one else experienced this?More oriels,grosbeaks and indigos I have seen my whole life time. And just when I thought I'd seen it all here today these two show up. They fought off the oriels and have been here all day. What an wonderful time.

You lucky birder. smile My cousin has a couple Indigo Buntings at her feeders for the first time and has 9 Orioles there on a daily basis. A friend of mine reported 21 Red-breasted Grosbeaks at one time the other day. I guess it's a good year for me to really get into this.

Had these beauties at the feeders yesterday.Also had two females at times.Must have had something to do with the weather because,Tanagers aren't that fond of sunflower seed but,they were eating it along with the oranges.
