I have a couple of nice spots just west of Cambridge that are yearly producers of morels. But, we do also have the biggest supply of sandburs in our area.

I know whereof you speaketh certified jumbo! I grew up just west of the old West Riverside school. When I would come home from trapping pocket gopher's, my pant's leg's were always full of sandburr's! Never did find any morel's around our old home place. Back then I didn't even know what a morel mushroom was. Wish I had known. Up here where I live now, Warroad, I have them growing in my yard! grin1DIRTBALL wink
