I'm going to be out of town the week it comes out. Wonder if they hold pre-orders for 5-7 days? I'd like to get the Hardened edition as well. I have to stop at Best Buy soon to pick up Pulp Fiction which came out on Blu-Ray this week so I guess I'll see what they have to say.

If you buy the game itself a week or two later its usually onsale for 40$ somethin

Just got back from BB and they will hold it 7 days if pre-ordered online. Apparently that is their policy for all online purchases.

That is pretty interesting. Not too sure about the specialist package though. It is going to reward the campy player who sits in a corner and gets kills with being able to have all the perks.

Camping always rewards people thats why people do it. A player that camps a doorway is probably not going to be one that uses the specialist killstreak loadout and if they do they wont be fully utilizing all the perks.

Someone who can move around the map tactically will be the best for utilizing all the perks and become the most deadly with them.

This might have been covered already, but how many of you guys pre-ordered the Hardened version? I was late on pre-ordering it, but I did add the elite to my pre-order, which is the same thing from what I'm told.

I was too late also. So how much was it to add Elite? Where did you pre order? I pre ordered at Gamestop and they never mentioned that.

FINALLY some real incentive to prestige! I guess I need to go back and prestige on the previous games too...

Guess I will be playing a bunch of MW2 next weekend. That prestige thing for the other games is very unclear though. You have to prestige all the way like level 15 in BOPs or is it just prestiging once?

I took it as points for every time you prestiged. ???

Might have to pop in COD4, MW2, and BFlops and prestige because I believe, at this juncture, that I'm at the top of that particular level before prestiging in those games. I never went past level 35 in W@W because the game was so awful.

I think you only get one token if you prestiged in any of the titles not one for everytime you prestiged. Meaning start out with one token, not a possible 50 tokens or whatever it would be if you maxed out everyone since MW.

It really should only be a point if you prestiged all the way through but guess not.

So has anybody found any pre-order deals for the regular version of the game? The only thing I have found is a free poster from Gamestop.

I know there is stuff included in the "hardened" version, but there is no way I going to pay almost double for that.

If you typically buy the map packs later on the Hardened Edition is worth it, but the Hardened Edition is no longer for sale (pre-order only) anyway.

Yeah that Hardened addition thing kind of irritated me. I pre-ordered the regular, because that's what I always get, but nobody told me anything at all about the hardened addition. I ended up just buying the COD Elite on top of the regular game. It's just $10 more, but I sure would have liked to save that $10.

I missed a pre order for the regular game for 47$ best deal ive seen so far. Ill just go pick it up at the store tuesday morning. I doubt it will "sell out"

What an epic failure it would be if it did sell out though. There is just way that I could see each store not ordering way more than what they needed.

Since there doesn't seem to be any preoreder bonuses for the regular edition, that is my current plan as well. Not worried about it selling out either. Although I will keep my eyes open for any last minute deals!!
