Weigh your tackle box

What are your limits for your tackle box. How much weight do you limit yourself to and what do you do to meet it.

Jigs I limit myself to white, yellow and black in 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2.

Spoons Wide variety try to limit to red and white, 5 of diamonds, rainbow, silver, gold and black in diff sizes. Make a point not to buy everything of every color.

Spinners stick to whit yellow and black in different sizes and blade size.

Inline spiners,cranks,jerks, and plastics.
Enough is enough I set my limit to 50 lbs and have made it only 48 lbs.

Which one. I usually carry 3 1= mostly pan jigs. another 1/4-3/8 jigs and plastics + all my rigging parts and 1 with cranks maps and other misc. stuff usually i can tuck 1 or 2 away in the boat so im not tripping all day. I want to get one of the big soft side tackle boxes with multiple boxes

Mine weighs a ton. A soft sideed box is worth the investment. You can throw a bottle of water inside, your rain gear whatever. Mine has strps that unsnap and you can configure it like a backpack. That works nice to carry my poles and other junk sometimes. I'm to the point I need a second box too, probably for soft plastics alone.

My main tackle box weighs about 230 pounds! The secondary, about 130 pounds.

My wife made me get a two wheeled dolley, because I was digging up the lawn when I dragged the boxes out of the shed to go fishing!

I usually wait until my fishing partner comes over and we lift them into the boat.

My wife used to help me, until she threw her back out...we were lifting the box into the boat and a bee stung me, I dropped my end and it almost jer****d her arms out of the soc****ts!

I figure that I have between $5000 and $8000 worth of tackle.....in my main tackle box!

Soft sided? High tech plastic? No way those are for light weights! I have customized an old *****amer trunk that I bought at a garage sale...when you pop the lid on that baby, it's a sight to behold!

The out stretched trays are 7 feet wide! I have plenty of room for whatever I need! But you know, I'am thinking about getting a third box? Hummmmmm?
