a couple guys i know use the crayfish ones... way i figure it you're better off getting 3 wiggle warts or a couple DTs or bombers for the same price. i catch just as many fish as they do

as far as the other ones, haven't tried them or seen em used so someone else will have to weigh in there

The LT's are very realistic, and very pricy too.

For that class of lip less crank baits the Spro Aruku Shads and Aruku Jr Shads are just as realistic and run $6.29 to $6.99 each.

I am more partial to the Salmo Zippers as they have a more balanced buoyancy and a slower fall rate with a good sound frequency.

We will see some new additions to this Salmo Zipper line latter in the year. Some new realistic holographic patterns with new options. They run about $7.99 each. They produce a lot of big walleye, pike, and Bass for me.

An overlooked presentation option with the Salmo Zipper is trolling, and it's deadly on post spawn walleye. wink

Keep an eye out for then new Salmo Zippers due out this summer, some very kewl stuff. smile

I like them. I usually stock up when they are on sale (think NW Sport show and the like), even then they still take a bite out of my allowance. grin

I was raised on Rapala and still use them, but I have more confidence in the LT's. Just comes down to what you like, and I like having a bait that actually looks like a gill. And I haven't seen a $6 bait hit realism that close and it's $10 to get one custom painted. So that $6 bait is now a $16 bait.

But that is what's important to me. Ultimately, you have to decide for yourself if it is worth dropping $12 on a bait just to give it a try and see how things go. If you have something that works and you have confidence in, great! But it's always useful to have another tool in the box. 2c
