Build a Wildlife Area!

Does anybody have any firsthand knowledge about this program?

From what I understand, my $25 donation will be matched by $75 in corporate money from the sponsors- Gander and others. This seams like a great way to get people & corporations WE support to give a little bit back to us.

I'm just a little curious! Seams like the 1st go round of build a wildlife area was a success. I have no problem donating $25 to a good cause... Am I donating to a good cause???

(Please don't move this to OPP... OPP has become PP!)

check the KFAN HSOforum..... billy hildebrand (the host of KFAN outdoors) mentioned this last thursday evening on his program.....

or perhaps just email the station ([email protected]) and see if they have further info on this...... i'm guessing someone will have a response for you-- if they don't, try back on thursday evening after 7 oclock, cuz that's when the outdoors program airs.....

Actually I think this program was started by Rob Drieslein the editor of Outdoor News who does the Saturday morning Outdoor show on KFAN which is why Billy was talking about it. As far as I know it was a huge success last year and should be again this year. Sounds like a great program if you're interested in donating money.

Basically its a fundraising drive to purchase a chunk of land and turn it into a wildlife management area. Last year they purchased land and I believe it is called Mud Lake wildlife management area. Not exactly sure where it is located.

If I'm not mistaken, the kickoff coincided with Game Fair.

Seams to me like $25 well spent.
