Unfortunately, the game wasn't able to materialize simply cuz I couldn't find enough guys. Hence, a buddy and myself played on-line. We'll have to get a game together sometime.

I'm Gmanwild on Party Poker if you are ever looking for a fellow FM'r on there.

I have played UB and Pacific but keep playing at Party. They have the most players and sit n go tourneys usually fill in less than a minute. Waits for any ring game are very short.

UB, I didnt like when I played on 2 tables. I would be set to click raise/fold and the table would jump and I would act in the wrong place. Also, when I played there a lot a year ago, I kept playing the same people.

Pacific-horrible players. I really struggle when EVERYONE calls 3 bets w/ 2 5 and flops 2 pair to beat my KK. Good for NL tourneys-since the poor play can be dominated. I won the only heads up multi table that I played-nice payoff!

I've played at Party Poker, Pacific Poker, and Poker Stars. By far I have liked Poker Stars the best. I don't like all the clutter of the other sites. Poker Stars has a nice big open table that can can take up most of my screen. The site is easy to navigate and there are tourneys or sit-and-goes every day.

I play at party poker and true poker.
True poker is the best but only have tourneys every hour but the wait is worth it,people play like real .
If your on , look me up...[YouNeedAuthorization] on both sites

I've been wanting to try Canterbury, but haven't yet.

How are the waits for getting a table? If I wanted to go there on a Sat night, say 6pm. Could I get on a table, or would I have to join a long waitlist.

If you and your buddy met at Canterbury, would you be able to get on a table together? Especially if it was busy ...

I have been playing at Canterbury this summer and What a Blast! Playing limit screws up my no limit game though. Almost anytime you go there after 6, you can expect a little wait. On a Saturday, the wait can be up to 3 hours to get on a table. The weekends are always packed. Expect to wait on a weekend. To burn time, I've put my name in, then, gone and played the table games, sometimes I'll go over to Mystic lake and play black jack for an hour. I've played the 2-4 tables and the 3-6 tables. The 3-6 tables are better in my opinion because there are less stupid people that end up taking your pot that catch something while fishing. Ex: Raise pre flop with KK, get 7 callers, flop is J heart,7 club,3 spade, raise after flop, get 5 callers,4th st is k of spade, raise on 4th, get 3 callers, 5th is a 9 of spade, raise on 5th, get 2 callers, one had 2 pair (7,3), the other beat my trip kings with a queen high flush of spades with no other draws or pairs. It [PoorWordUsage]es me off when someone calls a pre flop raise with a 7,3 off suit, then a person calls all my raises needing to catch 2 runners for a flush. 2,4 is more luck than skill, 3,6 is against more skillful players.

I also like the 3-6 tables then i usually jump to the 6-12...
the 6-12 games are alot more difficult, but you can bluff people out. I have forund playing at the lower tables you have to have a lock to win,the pots are good but too mant bad beats

I'm thinking of hosting a small game Sat. night..anyone interested???
I'm near Anoka

If you can make it to Canterbury before 5pm during the week or before noon on weekends, there isnt much of a wait.

I usually play 6/12, and on those tables you can get there between 7-9pm and be OK Sunday-Thursday.
