Flooded timber

In anticipation of high spring river levels I've had a question running through my head.

One of the major roosting sites on the property I hunt is a large area of very low river bottom approximatly 3/4 of mile long. It seems the turkeys roost there all spring. Will they still roost in flooded timber or will they move and roost in a near by higher dryer timber? Is there any special techniques to hunting near flooded river bottoms? Trying to get a jump on a plan of attack for the b season.

thanks.

I have noticed that turkeys actually like roosting in swamps or flooded timber, I think it has to do with predators not being able to get them. With hunting them it might be tough to get them to fly across the flooded area to come to your calls you will more then likely have to get across it or around it if they are gobbling on the other side might have too do some more scouting and see where they are going to off the roost.
