ROKY ERICKSON AND THE ALIENS

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

Peace brought back, bought back

Relaxed be nyet brought back

Did you dry her out

Wind her out like jerky?

To me she's healed, don't attack

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

Children nailed to the cross

Pain does not look our hell

Certainly is not a spell

Sweet waste from a well

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

Winds quiet in the night

Her body just blows messiah

Sickening sweet sight left and right

Is all right does not please my appetite

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

Two-headed dog, two headed dog

I've been working in the Kremlin

With a two-headed dog

(M. Jagger/K. Richards)

The hand of fate is on me now

It pick me up and knock me down

I'm on the run, I'm prison bound

The hand of fate is heavy now

I killed a man, I'm highway bound

The wheel of fortune keeps turning round

Turning round, turning round

I should have known it was a one horse town

My sweet girl was once his wife

He had papers the judge had signed

The wind blew hard, it was stormy night

He shot me once, but I shot him twice

The hand of fate is on me now

It pick me up and it kicked me right down

Kicked me right down

Kicked me right down

I had to save her life

Yeah, I gunned him twice

Yeah, and I watched him die, watch out boy

Yeah, I watched him die

He was a barroom man, the violent kind

He had no love for that gal of mine

Then one day in a drinking bout

He swore he'd throw me right of town

The hand of fate is on me now

I shot that man I put him underground

I put him underground

Yes I did

I'm on the run, I hear the hounds

My luck is up, my chips are down

So goodbye baby, so long now

Wish me luck, I'm going to need it child

The hand of fate is on me now

Yeah it's too late

Too late baby, too late now

The hand of fate is on me now

The hand of fate is heavy now

It pick you up and knock you down

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,

A tale of a fateful trip

That started from this tropic port

Aboard this tiny ship.

The mate was a mighty sailing man,

The skipper brave and sure.

Five passengers set sail that day

For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.

The weather started getting rough,

The tiny ship was tossed,

If not for the courage of the fearless crew

The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost.

The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle

With Gilligan

The Skipper too,

The millionaire and his wife,

The movie star

The professor and Mary Ann,

Here on Gilligans Isle.

So this is the talel of the castways,

They're here for a long, long time,

They'll have to make the best of things,

It's an uphill climb.

The first mate and the Skipper too,

Will do their very best,

To make the others comfortable,

In the tropic island nest.

No phone, no lights no motor cars,

Not a single luxury,

Like Robinson Crusoe,

As primative as can be.

So join us here each week my freinds,

You're sure to get a smile,

From seven stranded castways,

Here on "Gilligan's Isle."

    • Truly sorry to hear that duffman! I know that feeling.  Keep the good memories
    • Chamois passed away this weekend a couple days short of her 13th bday. What a great dog to hang out with here at home and on distant adventures. Gonna miss ya big time my little big girl.
    • Sounds pretty sweet, alright. I will check them out, thanks.
    • If you really want to treat your wife (and yourself) with a remote operated trolling motor, the Minn Kota Ulterra is about easy as it gets.  Auto stow and deploy is pretty awesome.  You just have to turn the motor on when you go out and that the last time you have to touch it.   24V 80lb.  60 inch shaft is probably the right length for your boat.  They ain’t cheap - about $3k - but neither one of you would have to leave your seat to use it all day.
    • Wanderer, thanks for your reply. I do intend for it to be 24 volt, with a thrust of 70-80. Spot lock is a must (my wife is looking forward to not being the anchor person any more).  With my old boat we did quite a lot of pulling shad raps and hot n tots, using the trolling motor. Unlikely that we will fish in whitecaps, did plenty of that when I was younger. I also need a wireless remote, not going back to a foot pedal. We do a fair amount of bobber fishing. I don't think I will bother with a depth finder on the trolling motor. I am leaning toward moving my Garmin depth finder from my old boat to the new one, just because I am so used to it and it works well for me. I am 70 years old and kinda set in my ways...
    • Dang, new content and now answers.   First, congrats on the new boat!   My recommendation is to get the most thrust you can in 24V, assuming a boat that size isn’t running 36V.  80 might be tops?  I’m partial to MinnKota.     How do you plan to use the trolling motor is an important question too.     All weather or just nice weather?   Casting a lot or bait dragging?   Bobber or panfish fishing?   Spot lock?  Networked with depth finders?  What brand of depth finders?
    • We have bought a new boat, which we will be picking up this spring. It is an Alumacraft Competitor 165 sport with a 90 horse Yamaha motor. I will be buying and installing a trolling motor,  wondering if I can get some recommendations on what pound thrust I will want for this boat?  Also, I will be selling my old boat, is there a good way to determine the value on an older boat ( mid-80's with a 75 horse 2-stroke  Mariner motor)  I will appreciate any help with these questions.
