I think Johnny Cash might have had one of the strongest voice ever.

I'm not saying best ... but man it's strong.

He couldn't hit a note thin if he tried.

Very powerful voice .... and you always know when its him.

This gal has had quite a journey.

The intro to this one gives you some of that.

Tons of talent. I might have to post a couple more from her.

Anybody else who grew up in the 1960's and 1970's heard of this band? I actually heard of them because my dad bought the record. They're called Frigid Pink. they were not that widely known and they came out of Detroit. I posted their version of House of the Rising Sun earlier in this thread and here are a few more. I owned their album "Earth Omen"

Digging The Small Faces once again:

This has lead me into really revisiting and digging into The Faces which was a spin off of The Small Faces. The only change was vocals and the addition of Stewart and Wood on guitar.

Of course this brought us the good years of Rod and richeously Ronnie Wood to the Stones. Keith used to like jamming with The Faces and knew The Small Faces. Boco for Ronnie because this got him on board as a Stone:
