Devils Lake, ND water clarity???

Planning on taking a trip up there soon. I was wondering if anyone who has been up there this year could tell me how clear the water is. Trying to decide if it's worth taking the Aqua-Vu or not. Thanks.

You should check out the ND Forum for more information on this; but, in general, water clarity is not good enough to bring wit a camera.

Water clarity is good, light penetration due to deed snow, not so good.

I would bring it. It may become very useful in the shallower depths and the mid day bite.

Seriously though, who knows what can happen in a few days? Besides it being brutally cold while you're up here, the fish also could turn on.

What's that old saying? Something like "I'd rather be lucky than good any day." This situation might apply...
