MJ1657
Dealer got a 31 this year but we didn't weigh it. I did see bigger fish late in the season last year. I'll be back out tomorrow and see what happens.
Mcfin
My guess is a 31 is about 6 pounds. Laska still might be number one. I don't normally weigh mine unless it is mighty big.
Laska
Yes but I heard you have been cheating and using hand carved decoys. well you should be cheating shortly then from what I know!! and its what I got my fish with!I agree a 31 should be 6lbs mine really was a fatty tho! woodspliter
According to my chart a 31" northern should weight 8-1/2 lbs.
Mcfin
In the past, I've gotten some really skinny long ones and some short fat ones. That is part of the fun of pike hunting.
MJ1657
I speared a 32 last year that looked like it could have eaten alot of the other fish I have seen that length. It does make it interesting.

Mcfin
Got a suprise birthday gift in the mail from one of my sons today.A genuine handcrafted Laska spearing decoy. Now with my new decoy and new spear, those toothy critters won't have a chance.
