Deitz Dittrich
Hook size is related to the size of the plastic. For the most part I use a lot of 3/0 and 4/0.. As for how to rig them, I do my best to get them to hang straight. May take some trial and error. Its really hard to describe how to do it in type, much easier to show in person. Gardiner14
You cant go wrong with a wacky rig. Just take one of the worms with a smaller hook(weighted or not) and just hook the worm in the midddle and bounce it off the bottom.

Craigums
With the grubs try a small mushroom head jig. Cast it out let it get near the bottom and real it in slow... But don't tell anybody else about it Sshhhhhhhhh
pureinsanity
Straight is key in my opinion. I don't do much bass fishing but I do a lot of walleye fishing with plastics. They key is to make sure that bait is on straight. If that swimming action is off just a little bit it can make a big difference in the amount of fish you catch. Larson15
There are several ways to hook the plastics you mentioned. - Worms: The most common way to hook worms is texas rigging using a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG hook with a bullet weight. Another good way to fish worms is on a shaky head or a mushroom style jig head leaving the hook exposed. - Lizards: These are most commonly texas rigged using a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG hook. Adding a bullet weight or fishing it on a carolina rig is very effective.- Tubes: There are 2 very popular ways to fish this rig. Texas rigging with a bullet weight or fishing it with an exposed tube hook are effective. The tube jig will go inside the tube and the eye-lit will protrude out of the top of the tube leaving the hook exposed.- Grubs: There are a variety of small jig heads made for grubs. All of the baits mentioned can be fished off drop-shot rigs as well. A little search online on each of the baits mentioned will provide detailed pictures of what was described. I concur, especially on Plastic Swimbaits, if it is not straight it will not swim right.
