Down Deep

Today I was in Gander Mtn. looking at some of the new LED lighting that's now on the market. I looked at some of the new houses that they had on display. Being that I fish a lot in low light conditions (short days. cloudy skies, night fishing, etc.) adequate lighting is often a challenge. How come that almost everything for a house and accessories is black. The inside of the canvas, seats, bags, sled, floor, etc. is usually black. It would be great if somebody at Otter, Clam, or Frabill would offer white or some lighter color to reflect light better. Any comments?

clam at one time had a option to get a white tent on a very few of their models. if you go to their HSOforum go to the tab that says resource and look under parts then replacement tents there should be one listed that will fit the scout. this is the only model left. like was already stated canvas craft does have a white interior on the norpac insulated houses.I just bought their 4X8 northlander kit in the norpac and I love it and can't wait to try it out this year. to test to see how bright it would be inside at night I put a 6 foot rope light I got from cabelas and that was more than enoughh light to fish by(pitch black in the garage at 10 at night when I did the test).
