To mount or not to Mount ?

I wouldn't base my decision to mount or not based on a number. I don't look at racks through B&C eyes. I stay away from that on purpose. I don't want to look at a rack and see a number or a "class". I just appreciate racks for what they are and for their uniqueness and for the memories and story behind them. Talking B&C just sounds so tournament to me and that's not why I hunt. If you think it would look nice on the wall and you want the memories, then have it mounted. My brother is having a 9 point buck mounted with a 13" spread, seven inch tines and nice mass. That's as far as I go for measuring racks. I'm sure some would scoff at that, but it's a beauty deer with a great story behind it. Don't think of what others will think about it. It only matters what you think. If it helps, look at the deer you have already mounted and without taking the money you have already spent on mounts into account, would you cut the antlers off the heads you already have mounted without regret?
