Metro goose archery hunt?

Wondering if anyone has been successful in getting a permit to shoot metro geese that over winter here? I see so many pest geese in Edina, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka etc. A Flu Flu arrow with Guillotine tip would be quick, "safe" and fairly bloodless.

I would love to help these communities with that "problem".

Back in the early 90's we got a permit to discharge a firearm in Champlin and Brooklyn Park to thin the herd. The golf courses actually closed for an hour in the morning for this purpose.

That would be some fun. Those Guillotine tips can really do some damage.

If the citys don't have an ordince about discharging bows and you had permission and the season was on there should be no problem. If they do have an ordince i bet you could get a permit. Call the city you plan hunting in and check into it.

Since an arrow is a single projectile, are they legal for taking maigratory waterfowl?
