Mr. Heatrer hose question

I recentely purchased the 5 foot black hose for a 15 pound bulk tank. My problem is that it does not connect to the bulk tank correctly. Do i need to buy the quick connecter for this, or do i have to buy the one that come already attached to the hose. Any input is appreciated.

DON'T buy the green one get the black one.

Mine is that same one it is only 5 feet long and the end with the wheel does not fit correctly to the tank.

Is this an old tank from before the over pressure device valves were required?

The other thing is make sure you are trying to screw it in the right direction. The threads are opposite the normal threads so you have to turn it counterclockwise to tighten it.

Anyone ever asked Mr Heater why their hoses aren't put together? You have to put that black ring on, and to be honest- a PAIN, esp trying to get it on and trying not to screw the threads up
