gregg52
it seems alot of these loses are not only lack of offensebut the defense can't stop 3rd and long !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so not sure Fraxier is the right guy probably cant do much worse
greebs
Here's a thought. How about firing chili and forcing #4 to retire immediately and give up remaining 7 mil or whatever he's owed for rmainder of year to offset what's owed to chili under contract. After all brett has said he's in it for the team and has said he won't be back next year so no reason to use him remainder of this lost season. Give tjack a chance with this current group and if/when he fails the team can seriously pursue a qb for next year along with head coach. FISHINGURU
ESPN just reported that ziggy has no plans of firing childress. Now of course that doesn't really mean anything, because he could very well be fired by the time I push the submit button on this post I heard that too, puke came out of my nose. bucketmouth64
Frasier needs to audition for the job and see if he can make the adjustments Chilly can't. Not sure how well he would do because he is not making the adjustments on defense. None of the coaches are making adjustments, maybe they've checked out of Chilly's corner too. Born2Fish
I have to say I agree with getting rid of Childress now. There is no need to wait and see what happens the rest of the year. And as much as I hate to say it, they should almost just let T Jack take over as starter and see what happens. The Vikings are basically out of the playoff hunt, and that means what is Favre even playing for then? A chance to possibly pad his starts streak? Sounds pretty dumb. I am sure that T Jack can throw for 175 yards and 1 TD and 3 interceptions a game too. Or even better yet, let Webb get out there and see what he can do. The season is ending quickly, they need to try and salvage SOMETHING.
fishersofmen
I just don't think Frasier would be the guy. He seems spineless like Childress, not to mention the defense has slipped significantly from last year with virtually all the same players. If they are going to replace the coach they need to bring in a hard a$$. I would agree there is no sense whatsoever in playing Favre in any more games this year. IMO he is the main reason this seasons failure. I realize many factors go into that with all of his injury's and everything else, also I am one who wanted him to come back and play. But the fact remains he has had a horrible year and been extremely careless in his play costing us several wins already. Now he is complaining his surgically repaired shoulder is hurt again on top of everything else. I say if this team was to cut anyone loose right now Favre should be that guy. Not only for the teams sake but for his sake as well, good grief how much more of a beating can this guy take this year. The main concern this team has is we need a QB, and not just a bandaid QB but a permanent one. A new head coach is one thing but the fact remains we have no one to throw the football.
thatoneguy
Frazier definitely has slipped from being the obvious candidate to replace Chilly. Unless his strategies are being vetoed by Chilly - which, given his control-freak nature is a distinct possibility - then the blame for the Vikes' inability to make in-game adjustments on D and to pressure the passer falls squarely on Frazier. Why don't the Vikings ever get lucky enough to have a superstar assistant in their ranks who can step into the head coach role and lead them to a title. Somebody like a Billick, or a Dungy, or a Tomlin. Oh, wait.Oh Cowher, where art thou?
Dave S
After yesterday's putrid loss, I'd have to agree that Frazier needs to follow Chilly out the door. Why do they even bother with guys like Lito Shepard? IMO he's as big of a joke as the T-Jack experiment. Watching him "jog" behind the receiver and show no effort to tackle the guy only to trip over your own teammate?I also agree Webb should be seeing some snaps on the field. FISHINGURU
Like I been sayin for weeks we need a whole new staff, only reason I'd like to see Frazier as the head coach for the rest of the year is that would mean Child is gone. ItsaCrappieLife
I hate to play Tuesday morning quarterback but did anyone not see the injury to the last good receiver left - Harvin coming on a punt return. Maybe Chilly wants a break from coaching but doesn't want to quit.
FISHINGURU
Its called throwin in all your chips and givin away draft picks!!Even though Percy is tough and put up some awesome numbers while he's been injured I don't think he should of been out on the field the last couple weeks. Just shows the desperation of this team, meanwhile you have guys like Berrian and Rice that sit on the sidelines cracking jokes and laughing while they could of been on the field.
