blaze vs camo

i'm going to do some late season archery hunting, but my archery jacket is early-season warm weather camo. all my cold weather hunting clothing is blaze orange for rifle season.

is there a difference?

deer are colorblind, i'd worry a LOT more about the noise your blaze orange stuff makes than its color

You can always buy some lighter weight camo to go over the warmer blaze orange stuff for after gun season.

Most of the time from here on out you need blaze anyway cause firearms season and then muzzy season is open. When you do not need blaze I would get a quiet shell to put over.

I've seen little evidence that camo provides us an invisible suit to deer unless you are well hidden in the first place. Furthermore, I've seen little evidence that blaze orange makes deer run. Movment and snapping large twigs makes deer run regardless of how one is dressed. There must be some science behind the UV sprays you can get for your blaze orange. It should not be a deterrent to going out if that is your only option.

Use your blaze if you want or find a way to cover your blaze with camo. No biggie.
