Dark Cloud
We have this quite a bit and I made it tonight, figured i'd post it up... One bag of mixed veggies - carrots, peapods, broccoli One small bell pepper cut into strips One can of bean sprouts drained One pound of meat. I used a very tender cut of venison cut into small strips/pieces. Pork, chicken, and beef work well also... One bottle stir fry sauce Salt, pepper, olive oil, garlic(powder or a few cloves chopped) Cooked rice - I used a few of the easy microwave bowls... A little bit of olive oil on the pan thats med-hot. Then the peppers and venison along with some salt pepper and garlic powder. Toss and cook for 1-2 minutes tops... In go the rest of the veggies for 1-2 minutes. We like our veggies firm but when I make this for my dad I steam the broccoli for a few minutes first. Pour on some sauce and toss for a minute and she's done. This time I used Kinkomann brand stirfry sauce and it was good but I like Wegmans brand better... Some rice or noodles on the plate and your all set. Some crushed red pepper flakes go good also... Easy, quick, and good.

Gissert
Looks great Jay! Is that a mallard foot I see hiding in one of the pictures?
BLACKJACK
Good pictures Dark Cloud!!! Stir fry is one of my favorite ways to cook pheasants, in fact I'm doing one tonight!!! Quick, fairly easy, delicious!! I usually start with an onion and some garlic. Really like to do it when I get broccoli and cauliflower from my garden, lots nicer using the prime cuts vs all the stems from a frozen bag - but the frozen bag is easier. May have to try it with the stir fry sauce (I just marinate the meat in soy sauce) and some bean sprouts. I also serve it over rice, with some chow mien noodles. Getting hungry thinking about it!!! Dark Cloud
Blackjack - There are a ton of diff asain sauces out there, from sweet to hot and a blend of both. A real easy homemade one is some soy sauce, sesame oil, a splash of OJ, and some chopped garlic. The frozen veggies get too soft for me. I can usually find a blend of fresh ones where the bagged salads are. Easy and convient but maybe not as cost effective... Gissert - Yep, I use that foot for a toothpick. BLACKJACK
Dark, Thanks for the tip on the fresh bags of veggies, I will look for them. I'm also not very happy with the frozen bags of veggies, too stemmy, but I use them because they are convenient. If I'm not in a hurry I like to just buy a head of cauliflower and some broccoli, and chop them myself, keeping just the flowerettes. Will also look for those stir fry sauces, will give a different taste, sometimes I tend to do the same thing that worked before (soy sauce). polarsusd81
Blackjack, you can find those sauces in the condiment isle of most of the bigger grocery stores. I have been doing stir fry like this for a couple years now and works great. From start to finish, with a breast of chicken it is about 10 minutes the way I do it. Can't get good food much quicker than that.
KEN W
I always make my own sauce.Easy to do.My main sauce ingredients areStock of some kindSoy SauceOyster SauceGarlicGingerEnough corn starch to thickenYou can add or delete ingredients to give a different taste.Such as Black Bean Sauce,Hoisen Sauce, and Sesame Oil....you have to watch how much ginger and or Sesame oil you add as they have very strong flavors.A little goes a long way.By changing a little here or there you can get a completely different flavor. If you like it hot and spicey....add chili oil.But be careful as it is really hot.
