So this is a marcum product, one that they are leasing or did they buy the company that produces them? Or is showDown a division or subsidiary of marcum?

That aside it looks pretty neat and to me I think that I would prefer that design to the dial type display of most flashers.

Marccum bought the ShowDown from Nature Vision when Nature Vision went out of business 2 years ago. Marccum added their sonar technology to the ShowDown, which added zoom and really improved the interference rejection and the overall reliability and performance of the ShowDown.

ShowDowns were hugely popular last year and were the first ice fishing sonar to be sold out for the year.

This year Marccum expanded the ShowDown line by adding the ShowDown Dual Beam and the ShowDown Ice Troller.

Thanks for the info. It was a little confusing that they are not on marcums HSOforum but still on the HSOforum for nature Vision.
