any chasing going on out there yet?

any of you archery hunters seeing any pre-rut activity yet? I've been out a little and haven't seen any. Maybe next week it will start...cross your fingers

haven't seen any chasing. but we have seen lots of sparring from the stand and trail cam pics.

yes two bucks both have grunted and chased does around by my stand last week. one was a 110 in 8 and the other a small 6. Both made a long grunt and ran at them, both them and the does looked tired from running. Kinda need, saw a fresh scrape yesterday to.

I haven't seen any and surprisingly enough I haven't found much for scraping and rubbing either.

Have a scrape being hit by 4 different bucks at night. Buddy has seen bucks pushing a doe already.

I've got pics of a 6 pt chasing a doe in field from 3 days ago and a buddy just shot a doe being chased by a 4 pt.

Also had a small buck grunting a couple different nights already as well.

Pretty normal stuff, the little guys usually start up a bit before the big guys due to a quicker push of testosterone.

Only a matter of time now

Guess the bigger ones are two a little, my brothers friend saw a big 8 that i have been watching had him run by after a doe at 50yds.

Had a decent 2-1/2 year old 8 pushing does around tonight they wanted nothing to do with him but he stayed on there heels.

Seems a little early for chasing but who knows, IMO we need a weather change for any real consistent action to start happening. My guess is a week or two and guys will start seeing some chasing happening.
