Doctor J
Anyone know if polaris makes an ice auger rack for their Sportsman? Just bought one and trying to get all the toys to make ice fishing a bit smoother.
Ed Carlson
Digger Anchor Company makes a new Ice Auger Rack to fit the Polaris line. It is a very user friendly rack. With the quick release Polaris pins you can make it quick release, and it can go on and off very quickly as needed. You can see them on the Digger Anchor web site and also on the StrikeMaster web site.
motley man
Made mine from 1/2" plywood & 2X6 with grooves cut to hold in place and bungee cords. Took 20 minutes and works great. Mounted on front rack and plastic crate sits up there too for bucket.

Carpenter
I have a set of the mad dog ones and have used them for 2-3 seasons. They work well. I just bought a new to me popo and will be looking to get rid of my mad dog ones (since I don't need 2 sets). Let me know if you want it. Think it was $50 new, so $25.Because of the XP rack layout I'm actually looking to get the auger off the racks and attach it to my rear brush guard. The rack Ed talks about looks like it might work. I'm going to have to dig into it some more.
Carpenter
Any issues with the power head not being supported on the Digger Anchor one Ed?
Riich
This was my solution but I had some time on my hands. http://www.hotspotoutdoors.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2109116/
