catfish grand slam

While on Kerr Reservoir last weekend, we caught all 4 species of catfish in the lake - flathead, blue, channel, and white. The white cat was my first and pretty cool!

jugs and trotlines, its part of our research project for virginia game and fish. things are def different in the south, although I must admit its pretty fun running trotlines

Trotlines can be fun but I don't think they will ever get legalized in minnesota. I have fished some a couple times when I was down in missouri. althou it was only on a small man made stock pond that was stocked with channel cats by the MO DNR. I ended up catching only 2 channels on the trotline. I think minnesota would pass the two line law before they would even look at allowing trotlines.
